I got my first driving lesson yesterday as we explored the beautiful sights of the area. The traffic was light so I managed O.K. It's a stick shift and driving on the roundabouts can be a little intimidating at first. At the Bastille Day festival last night, Meghan and I ordered one chocolate crepe. Afer waiting awhile and noticing they had two on the plate and were making another we figured out they had somehow thought we ordered three, not one. We laughed alot and as you can see, Meghan was not the least bit disappointed! The French count using their thumb as their first finger.

Susie!! You lucky little duck, you! I was so sorry to not have sent you guys off... i've been thinking of all of you so much, and remembered the blog you're doing. Awesome! I am glad I got to see you for a bit, though, before you guys did leave. So, whaddya think?? Incredible?! Yes! Hello again... i just got out the map to see where you guys are vacationing--I mean, living. Be sure to see the Alps and be sure to get on the Eurorail. Oh my goodness, you have so much to do and see!! "Comme il faut." If you head into Germany or Italy, I've got connections!
