CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS IS SEPTEMBER 25?
Arriving in St. Malo around 10a.m. we were all wearing light jackets and by the afternoon on the beach with the rocks protecting the wind, it was sun bathing weather. There were a few brave souls in the water. I just wanted to curl up with a good book and stop here for a few hours but.......

In the 17th century, St. Malo was France's foremost harbour. In 1944 a huge fire wiped out 80% of the town. Today, though, St. Malo has been skillfully rebuilt in the monumental style of the town houses first erected in the 18th century by Garangeau. The sun was shining just right to get this picture.
Dave and I stop to soak up some rays and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.!
Dave gets credit for this picture. There are walls that surround the city which were not destroyed by the 1944 fire. Through one of the openings, he captured the sail boats. How I wish I knew how to sail!
Just another lovely view as we were walking the shoreline and doing a little shell collecting.
