On Wednesday of our vacation we were on the triple bike headed to go kayaking and mom wanted to see the parapenters landing. I had been asking all week "Why can't I do it, look mom there are kids landing now". "Please, please!" So dad sent mom over to check out the price and if they had any spots open without telling me. But I knew what they were doing. Mom came back and discussed it with dad and they both said "Do you want to go, they have an opening?" I said, "But what about you guys, what are you going to do?" Mom and dad told me they would be happy to watch me do this thrilling sport. I could tell Mom was worried but she was letting me do it.
The picture above shows the road we took up to the take off pad. I was more scared riding in the van at 60k an hour on this road than I was doing the paragliding. It was a good thing mom did not see this part since she and dad were waiting at the landing spot to take pictures.

Do I look excited???????????????

Hey Lauren H. this one is for you and all of "the smile" lovers. Patrice had a camera on a cord and took many pictures as we paraglided over Lake Annecy.

I'm leaning back to get a great view of the sky and the mountains behind me and Patrice!

If you look really close you can see the cord attached to the camera. I am loving the ride and the view was amazing. You could see the shadow of the clouds in the lake. It was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!

Meghan, you are one brave kiddo!!! You looked thrilled and what a rush. Did you ever think you would be doing this in France? I'm proud of you :) Linda
I believe you have outdone my hot air balloon ride! Looks fantastic. I am so glad your parents let you do this. I hope you wrote about this in your book.
