HOW WE SPENT ARMISTICE DAY IN FRANCE!

Dave and Meghan were both off work and school on Tuesday for Armistice Day. Our friends, the Baudouin family, invited us to join them for a day at the beach in Quiberon, along the Atlantic Ocean. It was raining heavy Monday evening as we went to bed and into the early morning hours and we were all so excited when we woke up to a sunny day.
This area of the Altantic is called the wild rugged coast. It still amazes me that we can be on the beach along the ocean in less than an hour from our flat. We were telling our French friends that the closest beach to Indianapolis is at least a 12 hour drive.

Dave was the only one brave enough to wear shorts. He was determined to wear them at least one more time this year!

As we were walking along the beach, we were lucky enough to see this group of horses galloping at full speed. If you click on the picture to enlarge you will see the horse in front is on one leg when the photo was taken.

Solene, Gaelle, Lena and Meghan playing and enjoying each other's company!
