Horses, horses and more horses! The Camargue area is a wetland wilderness, interspersed with salt pans, rice fields and pink flamingos. Can't think of a better way to see it than on a horse. Linda and Meghan opted for the two hour ride while Dave and I took a long leisurely walk along the sea and marshlands. Even though they told me the guide spoke English, Linda said their instructions were in French so sometimes it was a challenge to know what the guide was saying. From the smiles on their faces, we see they had a fun time.

Meghan is taking riding lessons here in Vannes each Tuesday evening. When asked if she wanted a fast or slow horse she responded....... Well what's your guess? Linda said she was glad the ride was not any longer because her legs were getting sore. She had just finished three weeks of biking in France but as you know, riding a horse uses different leg muscles.

There is nothing more peaceful than watching the sun set after a fun filled day. The beach was just a short walk from the campground, so we all took in the beauty one last time since we were leaving the next day to explore a new area.

Meghan seems to be deep in thought! Probably thinking about her trip back to the U.S. at Christmas. Twenty six days school days left but who's counting?
James 1: 5-6
If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
