MORE TO SEE FROM SATURDAY

Since I only know how to add five pictures at a time, here is the continuation of Saturday's sightseeing by car. Dave has been to this town of Auray several times on his bike but it was the first for Meghan and I. Auray is a small town of about 10, 500 people. It was a possibility of places we could have lived but we felt Vannes had more opportunities. I wonder how old these stairs are?
Two days before we arrived in Vannes, the Tour De France went through Auray. Yes we would have been 15 minutes away but then we probaby would not have gone to Paris to see the end of the tour. Meghan is pretending to be one of those FAST riders!
This picture is taken looking down on the Loch river and the harbour. The stone bridge dates back to the 17th-century. Just think anything over a 100 years old is considered old in the U.S.
This doorway entrance to this home really caught my eye as we were walking up and down the narrow cobble stone streets.

As we left Auray we ventured on to the small town of Bono. I have been looking at post cards and then writing down the places I would like to visit. Of course it was low tide and overcast so my picture didn't look as good as the postcard. It was getting late, so the next time we go back I hope to walk across this bridge.

We continue to love the entries and pictures on your blog. I know it takes time from your sight-seeing and learning to pass all these things on to us, but we do appreciate it! Thanks, also for making it easier to leave notes -

Hi susie, Dave & Meghan
Sounds like things are going great over there. We love checking every day or so to see whats new in your venture. I think Mom gets a kick out of it too. Life is fine here, not too sure we will be heading back to Gatlinburg. Enjoy the 0ld World!
But what about the wines? Bordeaux? Burgandy's? Chablis?

Love,
Joe & Sheryl

Love the blue door -- and all the other pictures as well.

FYI, my cousin used something called Bubbleshare to so the filmstrip thing with multiple pictures. May be something to look into.

Hi Susie-
Jeanine forwarded this to me and it's so fun to read. Glad to hear you are doing good and Megan is having a good time. I just can't get myself out of bed at 5am to run these days. Will keep coming back to see what's up.
